Conversions

On this screen, the user will change the units at this point in the model structure.

Many processes do not handle the same material all the way through. As material flows through a process, it gets transformed into different materials, grouped into a larger collection, or split off into smaller sub-materials. To model this accurately, the Conversion node is used.

The Conversion node is used to change the units in the model.

For example, the material flowing through the upstream constraint handles bottles, while the downstream constraint handles cases. Between the two constraints, the user will need a conversion block to define the number of bottles per case.
