Wishbone Interrupt Modeler Overview
Accurate parameterization of a process's specific interrupts is key for creating an accurate model for simulation. Wishbone is designed to convert a tape consisting of the raw events of a process into useful distributions for Time to Failure (TTF) and Time to Repair (TTR). Traditional methods of parameterizing interrupts require dedicated time and attention from an expert in the subject to manually manipulate the tape and use their acquired knowledge along with various tools and techniques to distill the tape of line event data into a set of cause groups. Each group has unique and specific distributions for TTF and TTR that must be calculated before the process can be modeled. The expert will employ other various tools to extract these distributions and format them in a way that is consumable by their modeling tool of choice. While extremely valuable, the traditional process is time-consuming, expensive, and requires an expert.
With ChiAha's Wishbone Interrupt Modeler, the power to start with a raw tape and produce parameterized interrupts quickly, accurately, and easily has been placed in any user's hands.
